Introductions

Hey guys!

This is a little project I threw together in hopes of creating a network of people posting up art, and saying smart stuff about other people's art. Everyone loves getting feedback, and there are a bunch of places to get very superficial, "Awesome, man!" sort of comments on your pieces, but not a lot of people take the time to really say anything meaningful or helpful.

I hope to start this blog out with the 2009 graduating MCA Illustration class, since we've all grown up together artistically, and have a handle on each other's artistic goals.

The only rule:
If you want to join up and post your stuff, you have to make at least one comment on every post that goes up. It doesn't have to be a long and detailed critique, it can just be "Way to go on your use of color!" or "Anatomy? What is that arm even DOING?" or "Try for more value range." Which takes about three seconds, so it's not very much trouble. But with five or ten people all making a helpful suggestion, all of a sudden you've got a thing going.

If you weren't an initial invitee, but think this is a bitchin' idea, and are ready to make and receive some informed artistic suggestions, comment here with your e-mail address, and someone in the group will hook you up with the sign-in info, so you can make posts too.
